So...I finally starting watching "The Guild" today...and I love it! *squeals* I finished season 1 and am halfway through season 2. (My computer kept freezing up and having issues, so I stopped watching for today.) It's such a hilarious show that makes my nerdy self so very happy!
Back-story time!
A friend had mentioned the show to me a while back, but I never got around to finding it and then kinda forgot about it really. Then my fiancee introduced me to "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" (something else that took me a while to actually watch but now I love) therefore introducing me to Felicia Day. I didn't know really who she was...but I had heard her name mentioned somewhere before. Kevin explained to me that she was a hot girl-nerd who created the web-show "The Guild"...and while I totally agree with this statement now, it didn't really answer my question at the time. "Yes, but how do you know of this hot nerd-girl?" (He hasn't really watched the show either, but he did know about it.)
Fast Forward to Now!
So I felt kinda out of the loop...until I found the first "episode" of the show on iTunes for free download. (Turns out it was the first three web-isodes put together actually.) I figured "what the hey" and downloaded it to check the show out. OMG...I thought I was going to die laughing. I'm a gamer...not a huge one, but I did play World of Warcraft for a while...so I understand the characters, which made it only funnier!
So now I'm left wondering "why did it take so long for me to watch this?!?!?!?" *sigh* It's times like these (yes, they happen often enough) that make me also wonder "why hasn't my "Nerd Card" been revoked yet?" <.< >.> *shrugs* I guess I should count myself lucky...
